I slept outside again last night, the second night in a row and in my life that I slept under only stars.
And, you know, all of the lights on the academic mall of Purchase College.
So far the Occupy movement has been a fantastic opening of doors for people all over. But for me… I just find myself doing things like writing calls to action for our school newsmagazine, facilitating general assemblies, setting straight journalism students doing interviews, being interviewed by local journalists, and sleeping next to the clock tower. These are things I’ve never done before. They’re things I would not have done before. It’s strange and amazing and I have no energy left from running constantly for the past four days, planning and beginning an occupation of the academic mall. I love it. I think I’m exhausted, but I’m really not sure.
How long ago was the day on the Brooklyn Bridge?
